Dakohta  was born on January 24, 2010 he is considered a Classic Champagne, we are in the process of DNA testing to see if Dakhota is a homozygous Champagne if he tests positive for this gene then Dakohta will be the first known Miniature Homozygous Champagne in the world check back for updates.

Miniature Horses bred for the Arabian Features.  Theses Horses

Are bred for flowing gates and  very correct conformation, also typee

Such as a dishy face and a thin throat latch, giving them that beautiful

Arched neck as the Arabian Horse, Making them out to be an Arabian Horse in miniature size. This takes knowledge knowing what type of Miniatures to breed to be able to produce these specific features. 

The Arenosa Miniatures are known to have that unique attribute to produce Horses with the Arabian features and Arabian spunk.

 

 

                                 Champagne Miniatures

 

Champagne Miniature Horses are bred mostly for color.  These very rare unique horses are but very few in the world, especially Miniature Champagnes. There are a little over 100  registered  Miniature Champagnes in the world. That is what is so fascinating about these beautiful unique horses.  Their skin color is a pinkish pigmentation with black speckles. As you can see on Icee’s pictures their color is different and unique, their eyes are light and very clear blue some even have green eyes.
