SILVER RIDGE FARMS is a private family owned facility. Over the years we have had the privilege of owning and working with exceptional Arabian and half- Arabian horses.

 

Starting out with a passion for Thoroughbred horses in the hunter, jumpers has expanded to a love and appreciation for Arabian horses which has become our main focus over the past five years. Specializing in halter, hunter pl. western pl. saddle seat, and show hack.

Researching bloodlines, overall conformation of the horse, perfecting our selves by experience and by observing what works and applying it to our program here at SRF.

 

Our training program here at SRF is individualized for

each horse, we believe that patience is a virtue. Working with the horse at their level and taking them to the next step in their time not pushing them beyond their abilities will leave for a more positive experience and resulting in better performance.

 We teach our riders to give clear commands and cues so there is no miscommunication between rider and horse.  We found that these techniques work, which will make for a more enjoyable show and riding experience.

 

2008 will have some new and exciting outlooks for SRF as we are considering a breeding program. aiming to produce exceptional Arabian horses halter and performance quality. Producing babies with National lines and correct conformation.

 

Each day having the opportunity to do what we love, working with these gorgeous animals is a rewarding experience. A quote from a well known trainer “It is truly a gift being around these beautiful horses”, which it definitely is, all horses are special but the Arabian horse is one of the most unique and graceful breeds there is.
